They now have to head to San Francisco to face the best team in football. The books have officially listed the 49ers as the team to beat for the Super Bowl, moving them to favorites. It is justified. The team is 5-0 and has a great chance to move to 6-0 here. Brock Purdy is playing like an MVP candidate, and the usual string of injuries the 49ers deal with is nonexistent.
In tonight’s game, you can expect the Commanders to try to attack the 49ers on the ground. Not only is the rush defense slightly worse than the passing defense, but if the running game is going, the clock is running, and that leaves less time for Purdy to operate on offense.
